Through this international campaign, StopConcussions Foundation needs your support, so we can support others suffering from concussions and mental health issues!

1 in 5 people in Canada will personally experience a mental health problem or illness. Suicide accounts for 24% of all deaths among 15-24-year-olds.

This is your chance to share your favourite hockey photo or your best shootout move. There are several prizes to be won and you will be helping players all over the world with their mental health struggles and concussion injuries. All skill levels accepted individuals or teams can enter – the more you raise the better your chances to win!

A contribution would be greatly appreciated.

There are several ways you can make a difference:

OPTION 1: Click the FUNDRAISE button to register your team or as an individual and follow along to win some fantastic prizing

OPTION 2: Upload your shootout video or any hockey photo and simply help to raise awareness by posting your photo on Facebook tag us and #rememberhockey (FB @stopconcussions and IN @stopconcussions_official)

OPTION 3: A one-time contribution and ask friends and family to help support (click Donate Button on this page, please note StopConcussions is a non-profit organization in Ontario, Canada if you would like a taxable donation please email StopConcussions for more information).

There are several prizes available to be won for participants along with some special grand prizes for the best hockey pictures and shootout videos. Prizes may include Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, Brent Burns, Gordie Howe, and Wayne Gretzky autographed jerseys, Wayne Gretzky’s Hockey Hall of Fame Induction print, Johnny Bower/Gordie Howe limited edition figurine, a PS5 Play Station, and amazing hockey equipment.*

Once you reach different levels of fundraising you will receive a link to the rewards page and you can choose from your particular category or less.

Once registered you are qualified for the opportunity to win one of our weekly prizes (ending May 7th, 2021).

With your support we will be able to:

  • Continue to educate on mental health, concussions, and neurotrauma through all our various social platforms.

  • Provide funding to designated healthcare professionals for enhanced management training through Shift Concussion Management.

  • Provide priority referral for management of injury through Shift Concussions Management with their worldwide care. (virtual consultations now available).

  • Develop and create awareness video podcasts, with special guests and Ambassadors dedicated to mental health and concussions.

  • Continue to develop and implement our Safe4Sports injury prevention platform, along with our Director of Athlete and Player Safety and Development, Malcolm Sutherland, HBPHE, MSc. Kin. An athlete and player safety expert Malcolm has developed prevention tools and a program to control serious injury in sport. He is a Chartered Professional Ice Hockey Coach (Coaches of Canada), Master Coach, Coach Developer (NCCP), and member of Hockey Canada’s Writer’s group.
